Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a prestigious full-service law firm to find an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Secretary for their Los Angeles office. This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position, with working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment law and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, entitlement, and entity authority assessments.
- Facilitate escrow processes, manage settlement statements, and coordinate transaction closings.
- Organize corporate filings, consents, and resolutions proficiently.
- Manage document workflows, including database and data room setup and maintenance.
- Provide overflow support for the Labor & Employment Department and assist firmwide as needed.
Qualifications
- Solid litigation experience with strong knowledge of state and federal court rules, including e-filing procedures.
- Extensive litigation calendaring experience, with the ability to calculate, track, and maintain deadlines.
- Ability to prepare tables of contents and tables of authorities for court filings.
- Prior Labor & Employment experience strongly preferred, including familiarity with Class Actions, PAGA, and Wage & Hour matters.
- Exceptional proofreading, writing, and attention to detail.
- Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Proactive work style with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and perform well in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with iManage or similar document management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Outlook skills.

Additional Details
Salary range: Starting at $90,000+ DOE
